Bridget

LIVE-IN ASSISTANT MANAGER

Bridget joined the Humphrey & Bo team in June 2025 as our Live-in Assistant Manager, bringing with her extensive hands-on experience from rescue shelters across Indonesia, Thailand, and India. She volunteered with dogs of all breeds and temperaments, including those with behavioural challenges and disabilities, gaining invaluable practical knowledge and empathy in canine care.

Having grown up in the countryside surrounded by wildlife, Bridget’s passion for animals led her to earn a degree in Wildlife Conservation from the University of Salford. This experience deepened her commitment to animal welfare and inspired her to travel overseas to help street dogs across Asia before returning and finding her dream job, here in Dorset.

Bridget is also dedicated to expanding her expertise in canine behaviour and is currently undertaking a ABCT-accredited course in dog training, which she looks forward to applying in her work at Humphrey & Bo.  She is also qualified in Dog First Aid.
